I am privileged to be the principal of Madison High and to be a part of the Madison High Family. I say “Family” because the staff at Madison High is dedicated and united in our goals for our students. Our students are the biggest part of “Our Family”. We will ensure that all our students receive a rigorous, meaningful education that will help prepare them for the future. Each student will be challenged to work to his or her fullest potential. We have implemented a strong curriculum that is aligned to the North Carolina Standard Course of Study. Learning happens with fine instruction, and Madison High is fortunate in having highly qualified staff that will use solid research-based instructional strategies to meet the needs of all our students. We aspire to make learning a “positive experience”, and set and implement realistic goals for each student. Our faculty and staff are committed to creating an environment that is safe and academically focused.
Although our most important work is in the classroom, Madison High offers opportunities to be involved in athletics, clubs, and other activities that foster support and school pride. Students learn valuable lessons and responsibility that can be applied to their daily lives. We encourage all students to participate in activities that interest them, and to be an active part of the
