Madison High Schedule Pick-Up/ Parent Portal Registration
Madison High School will be holding their registration/schedule pick-up from Monday, August 3rd to Thursday, August 6th.  Parking permits ($40.00) and lockers ($15.00) will be available for purchase.  When accompanied by a parent or guardian locker fees will be $5.00 less. . Madison High strongly urges students and parents to stop by and pick up their class schedules at these dates and times.    Each grade level has their own scheduled day to come.
Seniors will be on August 3rd.  
Juniors on August 4th. 
Sophomores on August 5th. 
Freshman on August 6th.
 
All times will be from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm.

Registration for New Parent Portal Access

Madison High will be registering parents/guardians for the New PowerSchool “Parent Portal” Access.  Parents are able to log into the PowerSchool site and check on their child’s attendance, grades, and assignments from the internet or “Smart Phone.  Parent Portal access will be given to parents who show valid ID during schedule pick-up times.

You can get your sign-in credentials during the schedule pick-up days.   There will also be help to get you into your account.   Parents with established Parent Portal Accounts can also receive help with usernames, passwords and adding children to their accounts.




 
SOCCER PRACTICE INFO
Any young men interested in playing soccer in the fall, please be aware that official practices start on Monday, August 3.  Practice will run from 8:30 to 10:00 in the morning, on the turf field at the high school.  Whether you have been to any of the summer workouts or not, if you intend to play varsity soccer this year, you need to be at practice on Monday the 3rd.  Running shoes, cleats, socks, shin guards, and current physical will be required for practice.  See you on Monday.
Summer Reading 2015
All rising freshmen and sophomores, along with students in honors English III, IV, or the year long college English course have a summer reading requirement. Copies of the required books are available at the Madison County Public Library.  Incoming 9th and 10th graders also have the opportunity to participate in public library activity to exempt themselves from a test when they return to school.
